Welcome to a website and an app I made to help new parents incorporate nutrition into their meals.
The problem
The problem I wanted to solve was that new parents, (particularly breastfeeding mothers) found it hard to incorporate the nutrition they need in an easy way in their food..
Initial ideas
I started by generating some ideas for all the different topics I could choose, I went with what I had the most ideas for, which were new parents a nd food & drink.
Competitor research
I then looked into some competitors, to have a look on how it was set out, the design princables and how good the process of going through the website was.
User flow diagram
I then created a user flow diagram so that I could think about my wireframes and what i wanted to add on my pages and how the flow be.
Wireframes
After making my user flow diagram I then created some wireframes, thinking about what I wanted on the pages and how they would be presented.
Desktop version
I started to create a desktop version first because I thought that it would be easier to downsize my website into an app. I was really happy with how this turned out.
Mobile version
I was really happy with the outcome of my website, so I then felt ready to downsize and add some different features to make it suitable for a mobile to.
User testing
I then asked my users to use my website and my app and give me their feedback, this was great feedback and I reflected on the main points they gave.

Project Summary and Evaluation
This was the first proper website and app I made so I was really happy with my outcomes. But since I have found new skills on Figma there is definitely room for additional progression. And I feel now I understand the importance of research and I would definitely spend more time on that beforehand.
